AVANY - 2 DAY CE SYMPOSIUM

The Association for Vascular Access of New York Metro Network (AVANY) is holding their Two Day CE Symposium on June 15 and 16, 2018 at the Nassau Communities Hospital Conference Hall. All industrial partners areinvited to display your products and/or services at the two- day conference. AVANY is committed to promoting awareness of vascular access and the importance of optimum catheter care and maintenance to improve patient outcomes. We will facilitate best practice sharing through educational meetings and innovative presentations.

Our purpose is to enhance collaboration of care in various health care settings to ensure the vascular access needs of patients are met in a safe and timely manner. AVANY is a robust multidisciplinary membership and attendees of vascular access specialists, home care clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, educators, infusion specialists, infection prevention practitioners and manufacturers with a common and vested interest in Vascular Access and infusion therapy. AVANY has active members of the five Boroughs of NYC, Westchester County, and Long Island.

GOALS:

1. Promote evidence based practice through education
2. Increase membership to AVA at a national and local level
3. Provide AACN approved contact hours in the field of vascular access
4. Prepare candidates for the Vascular Access Certification Program (VA-BC)

A 50% refund is extended for refund/cancellation requests made in writing, no later than 3 weeks before the date of the event (by June 1st). Please email avanymetro@gmail.com for all refund requests.
